The difference is scope and who does the work. Layers is a whole AI growth team for an app, covering organic posts, paid campaigns, App Store listings and attribution, which you steer. An app growth system vs done-for-you posts
Layers runs agents for content, strategy, ads, social, ASO, listening, measurement and research, coordinated by Elle. Its SDK traces installs, trials and revenue back to the post that caused them, and it connects RevenueCat, Stripe, PostHog, Amplitude and Segment. Winning organic posts can flow into paid campaigns. For an app team, that closed loop is a real advantage.
SamayLine does not run ads, rewrite App Store listings or ship an SDK. TikTok first vs five native channels

Trust levels vs script approval and brand checks
Layers lets each account run at the trust level you choose, from reviewing everything to full autopilot, and says nothing ships without your say-so. It does not publish a set of quality checks that run on the content itself.

Ultra costs $199/mo, or $159/mo billed annually, with 25,000 credits. Managed human UGC is a paid add-on. There is no free plan, and its llms.txt describes a different trial from the pricing page.
