Where they overlap
Both schedule posts per channel so nobody has to press publish, both handle videos, carousels and image posts, and both publish natively to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn. Both bring results back after posting.
The overlap stops there. Buffer is where finished content goes to be scheduled. SamayLine is where the content is made for you, and publishing is included. Most of what each does, the other does not do at all.
Done for you vs you operate the tool
Buffer does not make content. Its AI Assistant generates ideas, repurposes posts and summarizes long content into short text, and you bring the media from your own files, Canva, Google Drive or Dropbox. You design each post, write it and queue it.
With SamayLine you take one 15-minute meeting with the OutFinance team, once, for life, then read and approve scripts. The OutFinance team produces the videos, carousels and image posts, and every post is checked against your brand's rules before it goes out. Network coverage
Buffer publishes to 12 networks, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Threads, Pinterest, Google Business Profile, Bluesky, Mastodon and Substack. That is much wider than SamayLine, which publishes to five: YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn.
Buffer also has a community inbox with AI replies across 10 networks, first-comment scheduling and a link-in-bio Start Page. SamayLine has none of those.
Using them together
The two are complementary rather than either-or. SamayLine videos export as 9:16 MP4, so a business or agency can let SamayLine make and publish content to its five channels, and use Buffer to schedule the same videos to Threads, Pinterest or any other network Buffer supports.
There is no built-in integration between them; the handoff is the exported file.

Buffer has a free plan for up to 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts per channel. Essentials costs $6 per channel a month, or $5 billed yearly, and Team costs $12, or $10 yearly, with lower rates per channel at higher volumes. Five channels come to $30 a month on Essentials or $60 on Team, billed monthly.
SamayLine plans, sold by OutFinance, an authorized reseller, start from $100, and social media automation is included in every plan, never charged as an add-on. After sign-up there is one 15-minute Google Meet call with the OutFinance team, once, for life, and your account is set up within 24 to 72 hours. The two will not compare line for line, because Buffer prices publishing slots and SamayLine makes the content.
